I had to use Healthy pets as l adopted a dog from Dundalk Dog Rescue. They looked after his vaccines, his neutering with such care and professionalism. My new vet in my own town could find my dogs file on their system. One phone call to the receptionist in Healthy pets and the lovely woman helped me find my dogs file despite me not remembering his original Rescue name. I wish l lived closer as they are a fantastic
The vets are really good and attentive but receptionists are absolutely useless. Especially Megan. They have missed a few tests we asked them to make and only apologised. Double check everything many times before you pay. The vets are great though!
This is the worst clinic I have ever dealt with — and I am referring specifically to the reception staff, not the vets themselves. They will do absolutely nothing if you are not already their client. The reception will not even provide basic information. The attitude seems to be: “You are not our client — go away.” There is a complete lack of empathy for animals in distress. The suffering of an animal appears not to matter if you are not registered with the clinic. I have tried several times to obtain assistance there, but each time the outcome was the same as described above. The reception staff should receive additional training on how to communicate with people seeking help. The clinic owners may not even be aware of what is happening at reception, but they should take an interest, as this behaviour seriously damages the clinic’s reputation.
