Excellent service
I ordered a high-value TV (ordered as “77-inch OLED C5E”) — but what I received was the wrong model (“C54”). Immediately I raised the problem and asked for the correct one, expecting a fast and proper exchange. What followed was a nightmare of delays, broken promises and absurd logistics.
What went wrong:
The delivery was late — repeatedly postponed, with no fixed delivery time. The time window shifted multiple times per day; each time I refreshed the tracking link, it was delayed further. I was forced to wait all day with two other people to help receive and install the TV — for nothing.
Once I complained, the company did not offer to deliver the correct TV directly; instead they demanded I return the incorrect one and wait for them to send the replacement — meaning I would have to coordinate two pick-ups / deliveries and wait weeks. That’s unacceptable for a purchase of this magnitude.
Their proposed courier pick-up is vague: no time slot, no assurance of delivery to my living room — I would need to arrange helpers twice (for removal and re-installation). For their TV, they treat me as if I were buying socks.
Overall communication has been sluggish, evasive, and templated — no genuine accountability or willingness to solve the problem in anything resembling a professional way.
Conclusion and warning to others:
Art Electronics displays a shocking lack of respect for customers who spend thousands of euros. Their “we’ll correct it for free” promises ring hollow when the solution creates twice as much hassle, and they offer no guarantee of convenience or timely resolution. If you value your time, sanity and peace of mind, do not buy from them. I will never do business with them again — and I strongly advise others to stay away until they overhaul their delivery and customer-service practices.
