This service is a total scam, designed to prey on the healthcare crisis and unwell people who dont have the patience to read all the fine print. Not only is it nothing more than a glorified chat bot (no way to confirm that the "person" you are chatting with has any medical credentials whatsoever, not to mention how utterly ridiculous the notion of giving medical advice over a chat is), but their pricing system is a total money grab. They advertise $20/month, then process payment as soon as you've entered your card details, without confirming the total amount. Somewhere deep in the fine print they say "billed annually", so the actual charge turns out to be $240, with no refunds available, unless you kick up a huge stink at which point they will offer you $120 back only. Not that it should matter if they bill it annually if they advertise it as a monthly rate - you should be able to cancel any month if it's a monthly rate. I am currently disputing it through my credit card company, but I recommend not using this service at all - there are other FREE options besides Telus that are easier to access and involve actual doctors.

Doctors are available but can’t prescribe in Alberta so it’s pretty much reduced the service to a glorified google.

It’s the easiest most efficient way to speak with a doctor. I do not have a family doctor and the emergency room is 8+hrs. I have been able to be helped without leaving my home!
