Elisha was very friendly and helpful. The viewing was smooth and pleasant. Thank you
Great accommodation and workers were really nice and friendly! They reply very fast to emails which is very convenient.
I had a viewing at X1 the platform, viewed the standard flat and deluxe flat, both great, exactly as what you see online however there is no extra set of draws like in the picture. This isn’t a big issue tho. I spoken to Anna and had my viewing with Anna, she was great and answered my questions and assured me that if I had anymore questions that I would be able to reach out to her!
I am posting this as an update to my previous review now that my tenancy has ended and further information has come to light. The main issue throughout my tenancy was a serious window defect that was repeatedly reported and never properly repaired. Temporary measures were used, but the underlying issue remained unresolved. I later became aware that the window requires a repair estimated at around £10,000, which the landlord did not wish to fund. This explains why the issue was never genuinely resolved despite assurances at the time. I was ultimately released from my tenancy early, but only on the condition that I did not inform prospective tenants about the disrepair in the property, including the unresolved window issue. I found this position uncomfortable, as it discouraged transparency in order to facilitate reletting. After my tenancy ended, I submitted a Subject Access Request. The disclosure revealed concerning internal correspondence and complaint-handling practices involving senior staff. An internal email written by a Senior Account Manager included the phrase “go away Nathan”, which was initially redacted from my data disclosure and only became apparent after I challenged it. A complaint about the conduct of the Complaints Manager was substantively authored by that individual and then issued by a Branch Manager, creating the appearance of independence where there was none. In another instance, a complaint response was presented as having been investigated by the Director of Operations when the substantive response had in fact been written by the staff member complained about and copied across. There was also inconsistency around professionalism and data protection. I was told I could not record viewings for my own protection, yet X1 later recorded a video of my occupied apartment without prior notice and shared it with a prospective tenant, despite personal photographs being visible. Overall, my experience was marked by unresolved disrepair, lack of transparency, conflicted complaint handling, and pressure to prioritise reletting over honesty. In my opinion, do not rent Apartment 1609, X1 Media City Tower A, unless you are prepared to experience issues that you may not be fully informed about at the outset. I would strongly advise prospective tenants to document everything carefully.
