Scott based in Sheffield provided us a great service. It was quick from the off, and very easy to arrange our initial meeting and measured survey once instructed. All to suit our busy schedule. Communication was great throughout too. Very happy with the level of service provided and detailed photos and walk round provided.

Yopa Bristol – Extremely Poor Experience From Start to Finish I’m sharing my experience in the hope that others don’t fall into the same trap. I was hesitant about choosing a non–high street estate agent, but after speaking with the local Yopa representative I felt reassured enough to give them a chance. Unfortunately, things went downhill almost immediately after signing the contract. The marketing was substandard from the outset — photos taken on an iPhone and used as “professional” images. Communication was consistently poor, and there were repeated administrative errors when it came to the basic details of my property, including incorrect information being published in the advert. Things deteriorated to the point where I felt I had no option but to withdraw my listing entirely and move to a traditional high-street estate agent. The difference was night and day. I instantly felt the property was in the hands of a professional team who understood both the market and the responsibilities of an estate agent. On the surface, Yopa’s fixed £1,500 fee looks appealing compared to the percentage-based structure of high street agents — but don’t be misled. Once you sign, there is no performance incentive and no meaningful recourse if the service falls short. I went through the formal complaints process all the way to the Property Ombudsman, and although the Ombudsman acknowledged clear shortcomings in Yopa’s service, the fixed-fee structure means they are not held accountable to the same degree as a commission-based agent. In my experience, the “savings” simply aren’t worth the stress, time lost, and lack of professional service. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before choosing Yopa.
