I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent Starbucks promotion featuring the bear-themed glasses advertised at the beginning of November. I was very excited about this promotion, as I collect bears and felt this item would have been a wonderful addition to my collection. Because of this, I made a special effort to wake up early and visit the closest Starbucks location to me as soon as possible. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was informed that the glasses were already sold out. What was most surprising and disappointing was being told that the store had only received two glasses in total. I find this extremely unacceptable. Promoting an item so widely while supplying locations with such a limited quantity makes it nearly impossible for customers to obtain it, even when they make a genuine effort to arrive early. I am left wondering why any location would receive only two promotional items, especially for a product that was clearly intended to generate excitement and customer engagement. This experience was very frustrating and did not meet the expectations set by the promotion. I hope Starbucks will take this feedback into consideration for future promotions to ensure they are more fairly and realistically distributed to customers. Thank you for your time and attention.
"Quote from Liverpool Echo" The Starbucks branch in Thomas Steers Way, which is part of the wider Liverpool One complex and close to Chavasse Park, was inspected by Liverpool Council's environmental health inspectors on November 5. Following the inspection the branch was awarded a zero rating for food hygiene. This report could be seen in the local press. I have seen numerous low ratings for food outlets applied to the ever increasing number of foreign run outlets and some very dubious ones run by British owners. I have never previously seen a zero rating applied to an outlet the size of Starbucks. This maybe is just an isolated case but it does beg the question about Starbucks control of their outlets either franchises or run directly by Starbucks. A ZERO awarded to any outlet given most council's inspection standards must be very bad indeed. Starbucks has now re-opened the site and are requesting another inspection. Do Starbucks not employ their own inspection staff to ensure standards are being maintained ? Judging by the report in question, it would seem not. Surely a company the size of Srarbucks should never receive an award as low as zero. Most companies of this size when receiving a Council Inspection on one of their outlets regularly get a 5 food hygiene rating. Some receive as low as 3 but I personally will be giving Starbucks a wide berth in future as a Zero is actually quite alarming.

Starbucks in Doncaster town centre - staff should really think about their career choices. Miserable, stroppy and upset my 15 year old daughte with how they spoke to her. This was grown “ladies”. Won’t be visiting again!

We like your coffee but it's too expensive. Today I got an email saying I won Starbucks for Life! I won 10 stars. What am I going to do with 1/10th of a cup of coffee???
