Very unpleasant administration that makes it a bad experience to live in any of their properties. They keep sending me bills even more than a year after moving out.
Here's why: 1. I agree to the filthy hallways and disgusting common areas not being cleaned properly. My door mat outside my door has never been lifted up many times by the cleaner so you can obviously see the cleaner always avoid doing this. The same for the laundry area too. Same 123 monkey work. 2. I have rented an apartment for many years but I have this neighbour who moved in years before me ( I guess) it means he lives there and he is not actually a student. I called, write and complained about this person to the landlord countless times but no proper action was taken. This guy was making noise and playing very loud music whenever it suits him, shouts and screams when he is drunk and he doesn't care. I confronted him once and for all and that's the only time he stopped. After some weeks, he just did as what he pleases. I gave up on the situation and tried to bear it as long as I can. The administration is very incompetent about the situation because they don't want to kick this person out and so concern that they will lose a renter. I even don't know why and what's with all the BS rules they put on the contract if the renter could not simply follow it. They can't solve the problem so they told me to just call the police. great! 3. Janitor/maintenance personnel stealing! August of 2023 (I moved in 2018) I got stuff stolen from my cage space in the basement. I was 100% it was the janitor who did it because he is the only one who has an access to our storage and apartment. But again, after reporting it to the administration, they just told me to contact my insurance. After talking to some of my neighbours, it came to my knowledge that it was the first time it happened and an e-mail was sent to all tenants about it but I did not got any email. If I did, at least I should have done extra precautions. 4. The contract says that I have 3 months binding period after the termination of renting. I did terminate my renting for only 2 mos. I did have some problem with my new landlord that I cannot moved in yet since the apartment will be not be finished by April which is my moving in date. After a week of sending my termination, I did informed the admin to extend it which means that I will be staying anyway and will fully use the 3 mos. binding period. A week after, they told me a new tenant was found which also means that no action was taken about my request to change the termination I did because I did not heard anything from them which I assumed that they did considered my request because I did informed them early. I was put into difficult and stressful situation that I only have a week to find a temporary place to live since my new place is not liveable yet. If you don't want the headache both with the neighbour and admin, find something else. It's not worth it to rent at Holmbladsgade.
DON'T RENT THERE. Lived in Silo 1, Roskilde. Dirty hallways and place not well kept up. When moving out they charged us for ridiculous things that made no sense as we had only lived there for two months. Charged 2000dkk for cleaning despite us having cleaned, painted two walls that did not need painting and on and on. We got less than half of our deposit back. Looking at other reviews under their old name Ungbodanmark you can see they do that often! STAY AWAY.
Seems like a fine company until you move out, complete ripoff on the deposit!
