Yet another angry customer- in chilly ScotlandMy new NIBE S1156 ground source got damaged during a power surge after two months of operation. It had been working well and i was initially happy with the equipment. Reported breakdown to installer (Renewable Heat) Dec 4th who eventually passed it on to NIBE Energy Systems on 19th …by which time Xmas holidays delayed a Nibe engineer visit till early JanWrong part was sent out by ,I realised and informed them, so they sent out a new control board . Engineer visited , did nothing …still missing a part, a small circuit board connecting plug, New part sent from Sweden via Uk branch, took several weeks ‘to make’.Engineer visited , incorrect wires on 4 pin plug . He wouldn’t rewire the plug ( it could have been crimped into loom easily at least to test and resolve issue temporarily -claiming it would invalidate the warranty. Basically not a skilled engineer response.) Apparently Nibe Swedens fault- not incorrect part ordering from previous visit.New plug with wires ordered - I’m still waiting weeks later.Constant weekly fob off by customer services, “we’re chasing it” kind of thing.This could have been resolved quickly by having parts in stock in UK.Even when this part arrives there’s no guarantee there won’t be something else wrong and another months wait. Its now almost March, we’ve hadNO HEATING FOR THREE MONTHS. In Scotland, over the winter. Due to new Govt rules on grant/loan you can’t have an alternative dual heat source fitted - i’d disposed of my LPG boiler .NIBE Energy Systems DO NOT HAVE CAPACITY to properly support what they are selling in UK. Shocking, inefficient behaviour from a company in 2026.Then i read all the reviews here - not the 5 star “we work for Nibe” ones, the “1 star - we bought a Nibe” ones. Read them , they all say something similar , my experience is all too common it seems.
Had a brilliant training day at NIBE Energy Systems Limited in Chesterfield.The Air Source Heat Pump course was both highly informative and genuinely engaging from start to finish.A huge shout out to Alan Sanders who delivered the course — extremely knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does.I’d highly recommend booking a course with him if you get the opportunity.Thanks again, Alan 👍
2 days training with Phil Barsanti Really enjoyed both days learning all about servicing and maintaining the NIBE product range. Phil delivered a great course, and enriched the training with his anecdotes, bringing everything together and relateable. Thank you Phil!

Great course presented by Phil. The structure was geared towards Engineers planning to get out in the field. Lots of Problem solving with constructive solutions so couldn’t ask for more.
