We engaged this company for a Jira training that was explicitly sold and aligned as advanced-level, aimed at experienced Jira users. This was clearly communicated one full week in advance to both the trainer and the sales representative. The participants were daily Jira users, including multiple power users. Unfortunately, what we received was the opposite. The trainer (Vivek) arrived completely unprepared and ignored all prior alignment. Instead of advanced topics such as automation rules, admin configurations, and high-level dashboard/JQL setups, he delivered a superficial walkthrough of basic concepts—content that was below introductory level and worse than what is freely available online. To make matters worse, he did not use a clean or standardized Jira environment. He demonstrated features from his own heavily customized account, showing buttons and permissions that none of the participants had. This made it impossible to follow along. When asked to switch to a fresh account, he could not reproduce his own steps or explain discrepancies. Large portions of the session were spent troubleshooting his setup rather than learning anything useful. The session effectively collapsed after roughly two hours due to lack of content. He was explicitly given additional time to prepare for the second day, yet returned without any improvement and still could not address admin-level or advanced topics. The quality, depth, and structure were completely absent. Equally disappointing was the post-training handling by the account team, specifically Jaya and Aaron. Despite clear documentation of the failed delivery, the response consisted of deflections and proposals that required us to invest even more time to compensate for their own shortcomings. Requests for reasonable financial compensation were dismissed using internal administrative excuses (such as certificates being issued), rather than addressing the core issue: the training did not deliver what was sold. This was a complete waste of time and money and reflects poorly on both the trainer and the organization as a whole. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution other organizations—especially those seeking advanced or professional-level training—to look elsewhere.

Invesis Learning is a highly professional training company. They supported me very well by completing my Change Management Foundation & Practioner and PMP. I can highly recommend this company!
