Complaints system is corrupt and is discriminatory. The service is dreadful experience and dealing with arrogant and unsupportive staff is upsetting experience.
Imagine having a service which is supposed to hold landlords to accountability. Not having any actual accountability themselves. Go to make a complaint and they make it near enough unposisble for neurodiverse people to fill in or explain what to do. The answers are insufficient anf from what I can see from 13th January 2026 they will no longer accept emails. This is exactly what pisses me off with this country..governments, legislation they do nothing to solve this it all falls on deaf ears and they make it impossible to complain.. Just another governmental stooge department reaping tax money and delivering nothing in return..
An abysmal service that lets down the very people it's designed to help. Cases are parked for months, sometimes years, with the same lame excuses trotted out each time to excuse the delay, and worse, the so-called chat function on the website is staffed by totally unprofessional individuals who seemed set on doing the barest minimum in terms of assisting you.
This is THE SECOND TIME that these people have refused to help me with my case ! I had ongoing and very serious issues with my previous neighbors due to the noise they created to trigger me and get me to react. I am neurodivergent, I have ADHD & autism and I'm very sensitive to noise ! My housing refused to investigate this for nearly a year until December 12th of 2024 when I had a serious incident with my mental health. Upon this investigation the housing chose to be biased towards me (because of false complaints which were never investigated properly) and my needs due to their personal relationship with my neighbor & disregarded my complaints as "household noise". I have videos of this noise occurring and anyone who has ears will understand that this IS NOT HOUSEHOLD NOISE ! My housing is aware of my needs and refused to install any soundproofing or add any additional things to help my needs because of their own personal views towards me! Since this incident happened my previous neighbors have moved out and my housing have moved in whole new tenants WITHOUT adding any type of soundproofing once again. I have raised SEVERAL FORMAL COMPLAINTS about this RECENTLY AND ALSO IN THE PAST regarding this noise and I have contacted the housing ombudsman to help with this and they have disregarded myself & my needs ONCE AGAIN ! This is truly disability discrimination from both parties and they continuously get away with it ! Their mistreatment is disgustingly distasteful and I have no idea how they're still operating ! I will be filing a formal complaint AGAINST the Housing Ombudsman !
