My Svigerfar has been in this hospital for weeks now. The lack of staff and no information from doctors. My Svigerfar is elderly, suffering and very sick. We had to inquire and push to get saline hydration iv for him, antibiotics in a drip. He can't drink for himself or feed himself, no one checks on him, helps him drink water etc. They transferred him to a temporary senior rehabilitation center he was rushed back the next morning - 90% of his belongings went missing! Glasses, charger, electric toothbrush. What the hell kind of hospital is this? I could write 10 pages on every detail of the incompetence and surroundings. No curtains on the window. Just a terrible place.

I love everyone at this hospital. They took very good care of my wife when she needed it. The quality of staff, their attention to detail, their compassion and personal service, will always be appreciated. We felt as if we were in very safe hands.
I gave birth a few days ago to my first child at Herlev Hospital. Ive been loving in DK for 10+ years but I was still was nervous about giving birth in a foreign country, plus I had a complicated. My birth took 30 hours and I had 4 different midwife shifts and had several complications l which ended with an operation after. But looking back and not seeing it as a traumatic experience is hugely thanks to the midwives, doctors, and anesthesiologists at Herlev birth department. They were professional and very caring - both very important at a sensitive moment as birth. When I was losing motivation they helped me hang on. I said I needed clear info all throughout in order to feel safe, and they were very informative at all stages. And when hours had passed and motivation was low , the overlæge Eleanor really helped me take the right decisions along the way, with clear info on what to expect etc. So a huge THANK YOU to Herlev Graviditetsklinik & Fødemodtagelse I’m truly grateful
