Fun, cool, lively and pleasant
I am almost satisfied with EDAA. it gives you a natural way to grow up professionally. I have chosen photography, and this school carefully guides you to the top of your abilities. In fact, if you study by yourself, each new home task becomes a little enigma, which you should solve and EDAA staff is always ready to help and consult you. you have manuals, which the school carefully send you and there are some materials online as well. What was especially helpful for me was a Facebook group, where you also can ask questions and share your own experience or consult and express your opinion on different subjects like equipment, techniques, and "how to do" or just find friends with whom you can do your homework together. school gives you 3 years to finish your diploma. Is it enough (?) - I am a bit skeptical, however I express only my opinion on this subject. 3 years it is more than enough but only for those who doesn't work. In my case I am 100 % occupied with my main job, which is creative. So to do the photography I had to spend my evenings or weekends - which means I was tired. When you are tired you can't develop your creativity for each homework - so, sometimes I just gave the result which I obtained just to show that I well understood the techniques, but it is pity that I can’t spend more to think about the best way to present my results. And it is the only one “bémol” about the studying. However, even with this the staff is ready to help – they call you, they ask about your problems and always ready to share their own experience with you. The evaluation of homework is an up-and-down process, at least for me). You might have to be aware that it is at partly subjective: different specialists have different opinion on your work. For some – you are already a genius – but for somebody you should work more. It should not disappoint you: with time you will see - those who was stricter with you had a point! It doesn’t deny your ability to create – all critics is helpful – if you understood it and are able to notice your imperfection means you grow up! Next time you will take it into account. You should be agreeing – if you are already very good why did you come here? Now, I am almost at 4th stage of the studying process. And I became progressively a photographer, yes, now I can say that. I mean despite you have to study all your life – there is never a perfection, but you start understanding yourself: you see the way you want to take, you see your possible place and the way to develop your own skills. I am interested in scientific photography, in portraits, reportage and an art-photography. To realize that you can guess how the photo is made and to be able to repeat it makes me very glad, as a detective “sur la piste”). The ability to control the light, to create the scene, to manage the process and to release your creativity it what I study in EDAA and I easily advice this school to everybody, who want to touch the way the artist lives.
