Dunnes stores Charleston. Serious training needed in customer relations. The basics of the word sorry don't exist In their training sessions ( doubtful if any training takes place ). Department manager of Groceries Beyond incompetent. I have left 37.00 cash with them to assist with their training needs. Received a courtesy call from the store manager wishing to refund me for the experience but I would rather not step inside a store that shows zero understanding of customer care. Perhaps CEO should spend a few days in the operation on the floor.

I was shopping in Dunnes stores in the pavilion in swords on Saturday and I wanted to buy a weeks supply of dog food but ther wasn’t enough on the shelves,but a very kind store assistant was packing the shelves beside me and overhead me saying there wasn’t enough so she offered to go to the store room and check if there was anymore,and much to my delight she arrived back with two full boxes.I asked her her name and it’s Eimear,what a lovely helpful young lady,so nice to see Eimear so interested in her job,most people you would ask would say o that’s all we have on the shelves and wouldn’t bother even looking for you,so a big shout out to Eimear,and I hope as a company you value her.

I ordered recently and had my purchase shipped to Portugal. There were no issues with shipping and the parcel arrived in good time. I am happy with my purchase. I have always like Dunnes and miss the store as I no longer live in Ireland. My reasoning for not giving 5 stars is that returning product is difficult if you don't live in Ireland. I can only order things I KNOW will fit. Also, their home goods can't be ordered if you live outside of Ireland.

Do not order from Dunnes if you are in Spain it is shipped from the UK. We ordered crockery to be delivered to Spain on 9 Feb. DPD are not up to the job - the parcel was misdirected, repackaged then tracking said it was on the van but did not arrive, the next day it said there was a problem and to expect delays. Dunnes had promised delivery in 10 days but the Spanish delivery company said they take 10 days from when it arrives in Spain. We cancelled the delivery as we could not wait any longer and were returning to the UK. As at 4 March we have not heard back from customer service regarding a refund.
