Diamonds Factory

My partner and I did quite a bit of research before decided on the Diamond Factory for my engagement ring. The reviews looked good and there appeared to be lots of happy customers.We booked to go to Leicester on the 10th January 2026, the service was excellent, the order was placed with a 50% deposit.We tracked the order every day, finally we received notification it was ready. The ring had been made to order and took around 3 weeks. The last 4 days it was quality checked, which reassured us we were going to get an excellent quality ring.We went to collect the ring on Saturday 7th February. The design was a 5x7 AAA green emerald, prong setting with a pave band. When we were handed the box, the ring inside looked absolutely stunning, the design exceeded our expectations. I suggested the prongs weren’t set symmetrically, I also noticed the emerald wasn’t parallel to the band. My partner couldn’t see it and thought I was being picky. We paid the balance, was advised to leave the tag on the ring until we were 100% happy and came home. On closer inspection we realised all 4 prongs were not symmetrical to each other and the emerald centre stone was very ‘wonky’ off centre and not the best colour. We immediately contacted the Leicester store and arranged to return the ring on the 10th February. My partner recieved half of the money back after 6 days, he had to chase the balance. We were both very disappointed with the quality of the ring. The quality process clearly didn’t work on this occasion, how a ring of such poor quality passed inspection, I have no idea. The ring was not fit for purpose. I don’t believe the emerald was the correct quality, the colour was too light.We have since learnt online stores don’t always give you what you’ve paid for.Our experience was unfortunate, please do make sure you get your ring, diamonds and gem stones checked independently once purchased.To add, the service in the store was very good, the craftsmanship and quality was the issue.Thankfully we have now found the perfect ring in a jewellers.Please be careful….

I cannot praise The Diamonds Factory enough I really wouldn’t go anywhere else for diamonds. I recently replaced my wedding and engagement ring and once again the service from Ashley, Argyle St Glasgow,was second to none, I ordered a 1 carat oval diamond in colour F but on collection, which I may add was less than 2weeks WOW, I was given an upgrade to D in colour. Amazing. If you are thinking about buying a diamond please visit Ashley she can give you all the help and advice you need.
