United KingdomI rented from Centro represented by Arran Leggett a high ceiling studio with 2 big windows and a chimney! I was worried about heating but when I was told that was provided by landlord ( R. Kidd) alongside hot water I was hooked and did not asked more questions. I moved and first thing I noticed was the mould on the windows sealant! Alongside other issues 2 fridge shelves were broken and had tape on them ( at the end of this you will see why I mention them!). I promptly reported and received an email that they were aware and they also sent my inventory! Then as days went I noticed the room being very cold and that the 2 radiators in the room were not coping! But big surprise, heating starts at 6 am and stops at 11 am and again starts 6 pm and stops 11 pm. ( mould on the windows sealant explained!) Promptly report, get an email back from one of Centro employees that termostat start working when temperature drops ( it was 5 degrees in the room and 6-10 outside- room facing north!) and another email from somebody else that the heating was on timer! My fault! I should have asked but also they should have mentioned! And then heating stops completeley 15/04 and outside was still winter temperature! My surprise was that in the same month I moved in I noticed and reported silverfish infestation!( these disgusting bugs love wet environment!) The reply was ( on a scolding tone) that there is a new carpet and fresh paint ! So if you are looking to rent, beware! And if you see a Mr R. Kidd as landlord, think twice! Obviously does not care to improve living conditions on his property! I moved out and I received an email informing me that they were charging me the fridge shelves and also presented with a inflated cleaning bill! When I called regarding the fridge shelves Arran was pretending that he received all this from landlord!!!! Well it is only money after all and I will recover! ( and I bet the new tenant will receive the studio exactly like I left it!). I agree that it is my fault for not checking, so if you are looking to rent make sure you check and ask! I had rented from other agencies before and never had this low quality of service! Ps: I have emails as proof of what I have written.

They visited and inspected the property within a few days then gave a succinct and what proved to be an accurate valuation and some useful advice. Good service all round.
