Found a great therapist from a second try. The service itself does not get in the way and feels pretty seamless, only once had a technical problem. Pretty happy about it overall, would recommend.
I accidentally signed up, thinking they took insurance. I immediately asked for a refund. They took out $90 for one week of "service", even though I immediately canceled. I had to go to my bank to get the rest of my money back.

My therapist is great. She has helped tremendously in my healing journey. I do wish better help had some more affordable service options.

John Fountain can be an effective advocate—but only when it aligns with his availability. On the days he is present, he can be engaged and supportive. Unfortunately, that level of consistency was not maintained. I was not asking for excessive support—simply a regular, once-a-week commitment. Instead, there were periods where he was unavailable for four to five weeks at a time. For a licensed therapist, that level of inconsistency is disruptive, especially after a therapeutic bond has already been established. Additionally, some sessions felt disengaged. There were times when it took significant effort on my part to get meaningful therapeutic input, which left me feeling like I was carrying the session rather than being guided through it. Therapy requires reliability, structure, and active engagement. While John can be helpful when he is fully present, the lack of consistency and uneven session quality ultimately made this experience disappointing.
