I thought these were the vets to go to but how wrong was I. I took my dog as he became unwell quite suddenly. Being insured, I was told by the Animal Trust team that they would take care of my claim and deal with everything. This all happened back in November 2024, behold and out of the blue, I receive email from the Animal Trust threatening the bill has not been paid and its over 60 days since my dog received treatment and they are going to start debt recovery proceedings within 7 days. This was the first time I received anything from them that suggested there was an issue with the claim. I then find out they have not even claimed from the insurance properly. One phone call made to the insurance by me and its all sorted within minutes. In essence, don't let them deal with insurance claims as they are useless and when they get it wrong, they resort to threatening debt recovery when all they had to do was call me to say there was an issue.
Removed a lump from my doggy's tummy. Excellent experience. Staff really nice.
So 30th march was the worst night ever , we took our beloved smudge as an emergency because his hind legs couldn't take his weight no longer, he was an old dog and we knew it was time for the big sleep. The vets treated us all with respect and dignity, it must have been hard for them too seeing him not getting up and us as a family heartbroken 💔 but we knew it was time , we loved him so much . They left us to say our goodbyes and never rushed us at all , we were asked if we do we want his ashes back we said yes we want him home with us , as the days went on everything seemed so quick so I thought I'd clarify it on the chat bot were one of the team replied with grace and respect I was relieved it was a individual cremation they reassured us we will get smudge back home with us . We got a phone call after a week and a few days to come and collect him , today we did and the receptionist and I think the other was a vet were very sympathetic and said they were very sorry of our loss . Me personally I was very tearful happy and sad that we had got him back, but also very happy with the service we received . This place is an a and e for pets and they were amazing at this very sad time . Thank you so much to the vets who delt with smudge also to the receptionists this was a pet a and e in Cheshire
They over book and you’re kept waiting for ages. They always try to sell you something. Have now started to say they might need to ‘stage’ cat teeth removal, so pay £419 for the first op then bring them back in and pay another £419 for the second op! Funny how they didn’t mention that might happen when I booked AND PAID for the 1 op up front. Online appointment said my pet would have the procedure at 11am. By the time I’d dropped him off it had moved to 1pm. Then the nurse told me they leave ‘cat dental to the end of the day’ and I might not be able to pick him up till 5 or 6pm. WHY put animals who don’t know what’s going on, through this? Why put the guardians through this? And potentially twice?? I’m so stressed. I hate this place and will not be coming back. My poor cat!
