Shocking company, after the initial phone call made on a Friday evening for an EMERGENCY call out to fix a toilet, they said someone would be with us as close to 8am the following morning, they arrived at 10.45am after a phone call asking where they were, Didn’t fix the issue and said we would Then get another quote (on top of the £175 call out fee) to come back and fix the issue another time. We have one toilet in the house, a toddler and I am pregnant and it just wasn’t an emergency to them at all. We still haven’t received a quote after 36 hours of them visiting, me and my husband have both rang to ask for one and they said they would “ping” it over, now doesn’t ping usually mean quickly?? The man said they can’t come and do the work today (Sunday) anyway so why does it matter when we receive the quote?! Because we can’t use our toilet that’s why, I would avoid them at all costs, I am baffled by the good reviews especially any about customer service as the man I spoke with Jon, was awful. Now we are stuck with a £175 bill for something I already told them was wrong with the toilet they just sent the plumber to confirm it?!
Able Group should call themselves “Unable”poor service, engineer come out to find problem why lights working but any appliances plugged in to sockets didn't, after over 1 h man confirmed that unable to find problem, he call office regarding this then left invoice with elderly person that was at home at that time and with out confirming price on the invoice requested signature.i was made aware charges £97 per half h , on invoice was £232 and my dc details were already with them ,problem wasn’t fix but i was charged, I understand call out fees but this is daytime robbery.spoke to cust service female was arguing with me that engineer was there over half h . Since then my electric issue was sorted. Able group it was faulty double socket in the kitchen that your engineer missed .

I used Able group to do a cctv drain survey. The so called "report" was useless. There were some photos and videos that means nothing to a layman. There is no written report as to the problems identified, what remedial action is required and how much it will cost. The survey cost £362. Able Group subcontracts the work. Slow to respond when asked to provide the missing information........I am still waiting 3 weeks after the survey took place. I strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere.
