All the bad reviews I have read are accurate.....avoid AA loans at all costs! I Applied elsewhere and got approved instantly with a lower apr rate

Unfortunately its a similar story to everyone else & wish I'd read these reviews sooner... I found the loan through my Experian membership. We have a very good credit score and selected this loan given the 90% chance of approval & the very low initial interest rate. The rate then jumped up by x4 times in the 'offer in principal letter, which I received weeks later'. I was then asked to provide additional documentation... however, the website kept saying 'we're having technical problems' and I couldn't upload documents - despite trying on multiple laptops / browsers. Customers service didn't want to know, found them to be rude, uninterested and they denied there was a problem with the site. I also got mixed messages with some lying about not being able do a call back to help me (which never actually came in the end). So if you want to waste your time & effort, impact your credit score for no good reason... AA Loans are the company for you!

Was quoted an okay interest rate initially, but once I went from a quote to an application, they kicked up the interest rate by 4x what they originally quoted. They claim they do a soft pull for the quote then a hard one for the application? I expect the interest rates to be somewhat different, not dramatically different. I now have a hard pull on my credit report, and an "accepted in principle" loan offer that I don't want. Thanks.

If there was a zero stars that’s what I would’ve put. Husband had a loan 3 years ago at the advertised rate of 3.4%. Finished paying it in October 2020 and applied for another for some home improvements. His credit score was even higher than previously but the rate offered was over 11%. Still decide to go ahead as had found them fairly reasonable with the previous loan. Sent in the requested documents which they confirmed they had received in November 2020. Said they’d be in touch within 3 days. Have heard nothing since and credit score has plummeted. Wish we’d read these reviews before and gone elsewhere. Will be waiting then applying to Tesco.
