We offer an affordable, sustainable alternative for bookworms who want to save money and help the planet. Our story began in 2002, when a group of book-loving entrepreneurs stumbled upon a bag of books in a charity shop bin, destined for landfill. They rescued them on the spot, determined to give them a second life and World of Books was born! Fast forward more than two decades and we've become a global sell of preloved books operating on a circular economy business model. We buy books from customers through "World of Books - Sell Your Books", and buy bulk excess stock from charities through Shopiago. We then sell this stock to customers through World of Books (previously Wob), meaning less waste and more rehomed books. So far, we've rehomed over 100 million books - that's the equivalent of saving 2 million trees!See more
book fell apart and was supposed to be in good condition
Great company that helps make the love of reading affordable and helps the authors.
I have ordered from WOB a lot of times , I have had no issues at all There is a large stock of books, I always check if they have a copy of anything I want to read as I will be cheaper than a book shop The last order was for 5 books , they were all in stock, they were a good price and were delivered quickly I would recommend and have done
