SwedenWe installed a Vaillant aroTHERM VWL 55/3 A 230V heat pump on the Costa del Sol, expecting a reliable, premium product. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. The system has broken down twice in less than four years, and the Spanish service organization has been slow, unresponsive, and unclear – even though we have an active maintenance contract. Despite daily follow-ups, we were left without air conditioning for weeks during the hottest part of summer, and still had no confirmed date for a technician visit. For a product in this price range, this is simply unacceptable. Looking back, I truly wish I had chosen Hitachi instead. I’ve since heard of others with far better experiences in both performance and service. A reliable service network is just as important as the product itself – and sadly, Vaillant Spain did not deliver on either.
SwitzerlandMy 2 year old and I have gone over 2 weeks with no hot water or heating. The situation has been ongoing throughout the year with no solution. Appointments have either been missed or different technicians come days later who seem to make the matter worse. Thoroughly unsatisfactory.
