We had an awful and dramatic experience with this company. We purchased a medical travel Insurance for my mother in law traveling to Colombia. She felt suddenly ill requiring urgent medical attention, hospitalization and ICU. She stays 3 days at the hospital and during that time, the insurance refused to cover any cost. During this awful time, we needed to chase them everyday to send authorization and payment. They never did. We can only praise the medical clinic to have continued the treatment despite the non payment of the insurance. My mother in law passed away in the hospital and no repatriation help was provided either. We had to involve our embassy to be able to repatriate at our own cost. This is NOT the medical insurance and the company to rely on. It was an absolute disgrace. You don’t realize how much you need medical support when you have a real emergency.
