No information shared to customers that they would be merged with British Gas. Could not get in touch. Poor customer experience.
Been a customer from Feb,took some time to set up bill .But customer service was always happy to pick call fast without long wait. Knew from first month company may stop as my friend who tried signing up said this company not taking new users. But billing was simple and fare not like confusing ones of other. 5p at night helped charging car, moving dishwasher time and clothes washing at night saved plenty.Not sure which company to move now
So sorry to read that Tomato Energy have now stopped trading. We were a genuine domestic customer since September 2024. Really good rates, reporting and billing. It has been appreciated. Good luck all and thank you.
Just read about Tomato Energy ceasing trading. I'm sorry to hear this as they have been really good to me. It's never a good time for people to loose jobs but even worse coming into the festive period. Hope anyone that does loose their job finds something quickly. The writing was on the wall when Ofgem issued them with that fine, no one is coming back from that, Ofgem looking after the big boys again.
