Don't get me wrong. I've spent thousand of dollars on this site. The difficulty is the shipping - it is the worst of any business I've ever dealt with. I live in Hawaii but even items shipped out of San Francisco (as in departed from) take weeks sometimes and tracking is impossible. They use various shipping providers who then transfer items to another shipping provider etc. The cost of shipping a small lightweight item, such as earrings or a blouse, is 20 dollars. Given it sometimes takes 3 weeks to arrive - when eBay, Poshmark, Etsy (even from far away places like Ukraine) take less than 2 weeks- sometimes mere days! Items are good in general but they would benefit from adding more photos, measurements, etc. All in all, there are better places (and deals) on other sites. The RealReal has gone downhill in a big way since its inception.
