Went to many doctors about a group of issues and could not get any help on figuring out the cause. I was literally just told “I don’t know” and given pain medications and more appointments for a Terveystalo physical therapist. They had no problem taking my money without ever offering me any solutions. I finally figured out the cause on my own after almost 10 months of doctor and physical therapy appointments, constant pain, inability to walk without muscle spasms, infertility and 15 kg weight gain. Thanks for nothing Terveystalo.

The doctor Martin Veski was the most disrespectful person to help any kind of people. PLEASE don’t see this doctor if you really need help and feel sick. I am honestly so shocked that this person is even a doctor at Terveystalo.

Complaint about Dr. Martin Veski – Terveystalo Iso Omena My experience with Dr. Martin Veski at Terveystalo Iso Omena was one of the most disappointing and frustrating medical encounters I have ever had. I went to the clinic suffering from serious respiratory symptoms: dry cough, chest pain, green purulent mucus, fever and chills, and shortness of breath. I had been sick for over two weeks and unable to sleep at night due to constant coughing and pain. Despite this, when I politely and reasonably requested an antibiotic – based on a prior consultation with my family doctor in Canada – I was met with arrogance and outright disrespect. He said, “I make the decisions here, not you!” He went on a monologue about how antibiotics kill millions of people annually, as if I came for a lecture, not for treatment. When I told him that others with similar symptoms had recovered using antibiotics, he sarcastically responded: “Go to church and pray for a miracle.” I couldn’t believe that in 2025, a licensed physician in a developed country like Finland would have such a backward, medieval mentality. It felt like he genuinely believed medicine is evil and that divine intervention is the only cure. It was deeply disturbing. His behavior was demeaning, inhumane, and unprofessional. I was clearly ill and in need of medical attention, but he showed zero empathy and refused to help, ultimately telling me my time was up and I still needed to pay the consultation fee. What’s even more shocking is that Terveystalo is supposed to be one of Finland’s top private healthcare providers. I’m honestly stunned that such an institution would hire and empower such an uncultured, unqualified, and unprofessional individual. By allowing people like Dr. Martin Veski to represent them, they are seriously damaging their reputation, prestige, and the high standard they claim to uphold. If you care about your health, your dignity, and basic respect, I strongly advise you to stay away from this doctor. Terveystalo should be held accountable for enabling this type of misconduct.

The company feels more like a money-making machine than a healthcare provider. They seem to prioritize profit over patients’ well-being. I was 10 minutes late for an appointment due to unavoidable circumstances, and they still charged a high fee - no flexibility, no understanding. It felt incredibly unfair and unhuman. To make matters worse, during a previous visit, the doctor even laughed at me. That experience was not only unprofessional but also incredibly disrespectful. I cannot recommend their services to anyone.
