Second Nature is not just about loosing weight. It teaches you about food, sleep and how to navigate weight loss. The daily coaching sessions are really helpful and there’s always help available for any questions or advice from a one to one coach.

Researched before opting for Second Nature, have been really impressed. Using mounjaro was a big step but the whole programme is about so much more than weight loss. The programme helps you to reset your attitudes/habits and understand issues. Lots of support from the coach and the other participants, group chat is great, you can join in or observe, no pressure to be a contributor (which is great for me, I’m not a natural joiner, slimming world or weight watchers would fill me with dread!) Daily/weekly topics are interesting and thought provoking and I’ve found the process positive 21lbs down so far 😊

I am just reaching the end of my 2nd month on the mounjaro programme with Second Nature and I honestly would give them 10 stars if I could. To be truthful I mainly went into this as I thought they looked like a trusted and safe provider for getting prescribed mounjaro and I like their affiliation with the NHS. I didn’t fully realise I was signing up for a full on CBT based programme that would totally transform my understanding of, and relationship with food, and a programme that is methodically addressing and improving every aspect of my life, for what only feels like 10 mins of my time each day. But this is honestly what Second Nature is doing for me. Yeah the scales and the book are great, and of course with the help of the medication I am losing weight steadily, but the programme content is going so much deeper than just weight loss, it really is reshaping who I am and helping me work towards becoming the healthiest and happiest person I can be. My health Coach Marianne has been brilliant, really consistent and always responds to my messages within helpful and supportive encouragement. The peer group aspect is excellent, feels like we are in it together and all supporting each other. I see there are a few less positive reviews by others, and I know I am having a different experience being on the medication programme but honestly I think those who are not giving good feedback, must not be accessing the full programme materials and supports that are there. Maybe they aren’t exploring the app fully, or embracing the peer group side of things for extra support…? I actually think medication aside, I wish I had discovered second nature sooner. I have battled with my weight and food demons for years and had got to a stage in my life where I almost felt like there was no point trying to change anymore, but now I am getting so much from this programme I cannot put it into words - thank you second nature!!
