We hired a mobile home for 10 people and a motorhome pitch the week before Easter. This is a lovely site in a great location and the water park was really good, overall a great holiday. I would have given 5 stars apart from the following: I was a bit disappointed however that despite the fact we paid €130 to have the mobile home cleaned at the end of the stay as one family had a very early flight. There was a notice of the departure process as follows: PACKAGE CLEANING Take out the garbage Empty & clean the fridge Wash and tidy the dishes Recycle bed protections Put sheets and towels inside the yellow bag Air conditioning: 19°C Defrost and clean the fridge leave it on 2°C. Clean the plancha FAILURE OF THIS NOT BEING DONE, CAUTION DEPOSIT WILL BE KEPT It would appear that the only difference with or without the cleaning package was that we weren’t required to mop the floor or clean the bathroom or the coffee maker. This seems very expensive Surely the idea is that you can just do a quick clean round and leave if you have paid. Had we known this we wouldn’t have added the package. The sister site, camping du lac also wasn’t open despite being advertised that you could use the facilities at both, also half the play area was under construction, however there was a public one nearby. We were at the beginning of the season so I doubt this would normally be an issue. The pizzas at the takeaway were really awful & would recommend going to one of the nearby huts instead.
The website was very clear and pricing was transparent, so no hidden surprises. Acknowledgement and confirmation of the booking was also very quick and efficient.
´a big thank you to Feliz who checked availabilities on 4 different campsites and managed to find 2 rental units next to each other for August. Her English was flawless and reassured me as we understood each other perfectly.
It was straight forward to book, even with my school girl French from 40+ years ago.
