We recently had cakes for our wedding made and delivered through Roots and Fruits and had a delicious and flawless experience! They catered so well for our dietary requirements, and ensured we had a real variety of tastes and flavours, ensuring nobody was left out. Many of our guests commented on the unique and interesting flavours, as well as the masterfully prepared classics. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with their personable service. Thanks again!

We are writing this review as a vegbox customer. We do not visit in store. We like fresh organic veg. Firstly, I must say that at times we have received a lovely fresh vegbox with suitable quality of product. We like that the scheme offers exclusions, this was important to us and ultimately, the reason we chose this scheme. Over a lengthy period of (>1 year) we have noted great variability in the quantity, freshness, quality of our box. Many of our boxes have contained less and the quality and freshness of produce has, particularly of late, become consistently very poor. I would previously had said the veg were just OK, but now I would rate as completely unacceptable. It appears as though there is no quality control. The last box was the last straw for us. There was a brassica that had the centre pulled out (It was one of the few fresh products in the box? Are they trying to make the veg go further because they don't have the stock to meet demand?), a rotting lettuce, 4 peaches (all were rotting, we managed to save 1/2 a peach), an apple that was visibly rotting, a bunch of spring onions (the tops were inedible), a bunch of beetroot with rotting tops. I wouldn't have chosen to purchase any product in this state from a store. It is beyond belief that it is considered acceptable to deliver product in this state to someone's home and charge them for it. If a supermarket delivered anything in this state it would be refunded. This brings me to customer service. Email responses can be slow. On emailing to cancel all future deliveries I explained why and included photographs of some of the produce we received. We received no response, apology or offer of a refund.
Stock is excellent however 2 staff behind the tills ignored me and looked at me weirdly whilst I was waiting to get served and they were both individually doing nothing, felt like dumping the stuff and leaving, so rude. Work on customer service.
The he excellent efficient service provided by the staff in the coffee shop makes it worthwhile to go on a regular basis
