So many years ago 10+yrs I joined Resolve Recruitment & they always found me work always paid on time & most of all the staff was always polite & friendly. I was employed through this agency and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience. After leaving my role on 15th August 2025, the agency mistakenly paid me twice in October 2025 for work I had not done them told me it been done in error and demanded it back. While they acknowledged the error, the situation caused significant issues for me my Universal Credit was reduced because HMRC received the incorrect payments as income. The process to correct this has been slow, and I’ve had to hold the overpaid amounts while waiting for the agency to submit the amended RTI to HMRC. This situation has caused unnecessary stress and financial strain. While mistakes happen, the lack of timely resolution and clear communication made this a very disappointing experience. I hope the agency improves their payroll and reporting processes to prevent this happening to others.
