If I could give Quest a -minus star, I would. This company has no care for the convenience of customers. Even their waiting room feels like a prison waiting room. It was cold, just a lineup of chairs, no television, no piped in music, and nothing to stare at except the feet of other people waiting. There are no other lab options for me, just Quest. If there were, I would never step foot in Quest ever again. There’s zero personal contact with a human until a tech opens the door and calls your name.

working at Quest: Highly favoritism, management has no concept of empathy. All they care about is money and numbers, every employee is expendable. If your looking for a career in phlebotomy do not choose to work at Quest, you wont move up unless you personally know someone.

My problem is with the billing. My doctor ordered some tests that I did not know about, but which seem reasonable given the procedure. Quest is now billing me for the full, un-discounted amount because they say Medicare rejected the claim. BUT, Medicare never got a claim and cannot issue an Explanation of Benefits because, well, there was never a claim. Quest says they cannot file another claim and that I will have to appeal the denial to Medicare. But how do I appeal something that does not exist? Neither Quest nor Medicare can produce a letter of denial. Also: impossible to reach Quest by phone. Office hours are secret but apparently they are not open at 4 PM EDT. last time I talked to them it was a 30 minute wait on hold, a disconnect, and then another 30 minutes wait. HORRIBLE!
