J’ai commandé une imprimante Canon I-SENSYS LBP633Cdw chez PrintAbout, reçue le 29/10/2025. Dès le 30/10/2025, j’ai exercé mon droit de rétractation en envoyant le formulaire officiel européen, car l’imprimante affichait constamment des erreurs de bourrage papier, même si aucun papier n’était coincé. Canon a confirmé que l’imprimante était défectueuse. PrintAbout fournit un label de retour gratuit, mais leur politique est absurde : ils s’attendent à ce que le consommateur inspecte le produit dans l’emballage et décide qu’il fonctionne sans pouvoir le tester réellement, et si le produit ne fonctionne pas correctement après cette inspection, c’est votre problème. Ils tentent également d’appliquer une dépréciation illégale, même si j’ai imprimé seulement quelques feuilles, bien en dessous des 200 impressions mentionnées. Selon le droit européen (Directive 2011/83/UE), j’avais un délai légal de 14 jours pour exercer mon droit de rétractation et exiger un remboursement intégral, même après avoir testé le produit pour vérifier son fonctionnement. Toute tentative de réduire ou refuser le remboursement pour usage normal est illégale et abusive. Le service client est poli mais lent et confus, et il faut insister pour faire respecter ses droits. On 30/10/2025, I exercised my EU withdrawal right by submitting the official form, because the printer repeatedly showed paper jam errors, even though no paper was stuck. Canon confirmed the printer was defective. PrintAbout provides a free return label, but their policy is absurd: they expect consumers to inspect the product in the box and decide it works without actually testing it, and if it does not function properly after this “inspection,” it’s your problem. They also attempt to apply illegal depreciation, even though I printed only a few sheets, far below the 200-print threshold. Under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU), I had a 14-day legal window to exercise my withdrawal right and demand a full refund, even after testing the product to verify functionality. Any attempt to reduce or deny the refund for normal use or testing is illegal and abusive. Customer service is polite but slow and confusing, and you must insist to enforce your rights. Warning: do not buy from PrintAbout if you expect your EU rights to be respected.

I bought a Canon printer at PrintAbout and it was delivered on 08.10.2024. I installed everything properly and found out that the printer can't print or copy properly. I've connected with Canon Support team. Four hours of chatting, live video call, checking drivers, installation, settings and than come to the point that printer, that was delivered is defective. I've connected PrintAbout Clients Support and they still didn't reply. It was such a waste of time, because all in all it took me 7 hours, to wait for a reply of Canon Support, double check everything and installing. Horrible experience for ~320€. If you want the same please have a deal with PrintAbout. What i also would like to add it that PrintAbout makes the return process complicated, because all forms that are obligatory are in Dutch, no matter if you ordered for Germany. If you contact PrintAbout support, they will answer you also in Dutch, same as the response of PrintAbout on my review.
