USUSThe bait and switch tactics used on their website are shameful. And the final step of shipping, I was charged 2 1/2 times the value of my original order. Don’t be fooled by their stupid advertisements, opticontacts.com is a ripoff.
USUSAfter processing my order, the website mentioned that I would have to wait 2-4 weeks for my benefits to be applied and for a refund. I tried to cancel this before it was processed due to false advertising. Tony from Opticontacts.com said that they have forwarded my cancelation request to their supplier, once we receive a confirmation from that that the order was canceled you will also receive a confirmation email for that and for the refund, however if they are not able to cancel the order in time you will receive a prepaid return label separately so you can return the boxes back to us for a full refund. I advised him that their website states that the cancellation information states that if the order has not yet been fully processed or shipped, there may be an option to cancel it. When my order was submitted, I called to cancel within minutes. Tony from Opticontacts.com said that the order was already in progress with their supplier, they will try to stop that for me, and if it is not too late, they will send you a confirmation email in regards to the cancellation and a confirmation of the refund. It takes 24 hours for the supplier to respond. PLEASE ORDER THROUGH YOUR BENEFITS PROVIDER AND WELL-KNOWN COMPANIES.
USUSThis company advertises an incredible price for contact lenses. Once you enter all your information and attempt to process, they tack on a large "service fee" and the lenses end up costing more than other local and advertised online companies.

Advertised my contacts at $57.95 per box which was much cheaper than competitors and then once I entered all my info including address, it added not only a shipping fee of $13 but a "processing fee" of 115.90, essentially doubling the price of the contacts! This is misleading, dishonest, and should be illegal!
