As for a eye care goes they can't be beaten. Their guarantee if the glasses aren't right is brilliant. Only challenge is the low chairs not fit for those with mobility problems. Despite raising this repeatedly over the years it had not been addressed. When they refurbished, what would it have cost to provide decent customer seating? Precious little if anything. A devastating oversight. It drives people away.
I recently purchased a pair of glasses with new frames, but just a few weeks later, the lenses already had noticeable scratches. When I contacted the shop, I was told there was nothing they could do. It’s incredibly frustrating—hundreds of pounds wasted, and now I have to go through the entire process again. There appears to be no guarantee offered, or perhaps the technology used by opticians is simply lacking. Either way, something needs to change. This level of service is unacceptable.
Worse customer service ever. Non stop emails and text messages reminding me about eye test. Having spent over £400 on glasses, have not bothered contacting me once in 7 weeks, now claim glasses have been lost or mis placed. Promise of phone call which never came. Six emails with their Customer Service department who needed to know date of birth, receipt details, etc etc, and still awaiting phone call for refund.
