The item I ordered did not meet description in the catalogue. It was a flimsy piece of cardboard, we I called to complain I was told to return it at my expense and then I would receive a refund. The person I spoke to kept quoting the description in the catalog. It was a forest railway advent calendar. After this experience I will not be using them again.
Placed an order for three items, one of which was a sunflower brooch. When the parcel arrived I couldn't find the brooch. I checked the order and and shhk out all of the packing paper. (There was a lot). The brooch was wrapped in the packing paper. Thankfully I found it or it would have gone to the recycling bin with the packing paper. By the way everything else was packed very well
My wife and I have bought from Museum Selection a number of items over many years. Recently we returned three items. We were refunded for two. I contacted the company and the third items was immediately refunded. Unfortunately the £22.38 refund for the first two items which I was informed had been refunded on 30th July this year has not appeared in my bank account. I have emailed the company a number of times and all they will say is 'contact your bank'. As this has never happed to me before I know it is not a problem with my bank but with Museum Selection. If necessary I will take legal action if they do not refund my money and will never buy from this company again.
I loved the gifts I ordered for Christmas. However I must have unwittingly ticked or not ticked a box. My data has been sold to a variety of charities I’m now getting inundated with mail wanting donations. All have said my data came from the museum selection originally. They have advised me to sign up with the mailing preference service to enable it to stop.
