Really really bad customer service paying is extremely easy and unfortunately that is where easy ends. The customer service team are impossible to contact they do not answer the telephone or respond to emails. I paid for 2 card renewals and 6 weeks on still waiting for cards that work It’s extremely disappointing as what could be a reliable service with well trained staff appears to be anything but. Let’s hope they close the helpdesk and allow anyone to contact competent staff.

Edit: since the latest update, several things have improved such as acceptance in musea, and children who can be switched from parent to parent. Sadly not both barents can simply have their kids cards loaded which is still a hassle. I below is my original review which still has a few valid points. Museum card is accepted by many, but not all musea in the Netherlands. Don’t use the app! They have a new app where you can transfer your card to a digital one, but it is not accepted in some places and it renders your physical card useless. I never received a reply to my complaint to their customer service, despite sending it by the official customer support link, per e-mail and the app store.

After several weeks of trying to resolve the issue with transferring my card to the digital card it's still not working. My physical card has been deactivated and the digital card has the same errors and now I've been locked out of my Museum card account.
Useless customer service... My son and me both needed a new museumcard, because I lost them. I am emailing them for 2 months now. So far I got a replacement for his card and I managed to log in (seeing his card only), but now I am stuck again. I can't log in anymore, they keep sending me a link to set up a new password, but it doesn't work from my phone nor from my laptop. At this moment they want me to renew both our cards (they expire in a month), but this is ridiculous... Every time a new person replies, they don't seem to read through the previous conversations. I also tried calling them, but gave up after a few tries... It's really not worth the headache and now I am missing of two months. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't have lost the cards in the first place, but I thought at this day and age this should be a quick fix... I was very wrong...
