GBGBOrdered a slab of riven slate. Prompt delivery and good price. Unwrapped slate and it was pretty dirty, but signed for it as it looked superficial. After a good scrub there were three lines of adhesive across the BLACK slate that were WHITE. they were impossible to remove. I emailed and sent pictures.. Response came a week later, saying nothing they could do as I had signed for the delivery all ok. Terrible service. I would not recommend or use again. I spent hours trying everything - risking damage to my slate slab. In the end I scrapped every millimetre off bit by bit with a credit card. No solvent would work. Thanks of no advice and late response. What company sticks their packaging down with adhesive straight on the stone!!!!
GBGBWhen my hearth first arrived, it was unfortunately damaged, and the delivery driver left without checking the condition of the item. Initially, I was disappointed with the company’s response and felt there wasn’t much support. However, after further communication, the company agreed to send a replacement hearth, which arrived in perfect condition. I appreciate that they ultimately resolved the issue and made things right. While the experience started off frustrating, I’m satisfied with how it was handled in the end.
GBGBTheir heartstones are NOT for fireplaces with open fire. Only decoration, otherwise the rock will peal and crack as it is not up for a fireplace quality. Bit misleading..
GBGBI foolishly ordered a pallet of 350 split face Maxi tiles instead of Mini. The store was quick to arrange pickup of the original pallet and delivery of the replacement; there was also a no-quibble refund of the price difference. Great store (and great tiles to boot).
