READ AND RECONSIDER IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE THEIR PROPERTY. I have purchased a Millers Home property. Many issues from day one. Biggest issue causing me a huge financial loss due to their Boiler was NOT registered properly on warranty and it broke down within less than a year of me owning the place. Tried contacting them, they REFUSED to send anyone to come help. I had someone to come do a diagnostic test and confirmed it was a INSTALLATION issue yet they still wouldnt send any help. I was left in the cold with no central heating / cold water for 3 weeks now. (Still experiencing it). Going back and forth desperately trying to get them to help, yet no help was given. Tried calling the boiler company myself and was told the boiler wasnt registered. Which would've been a huge legal gas safety issue. However, after numerous phone calls; they finally found that it was registered under the WRONG post code. I almost had to pay a huge amount of money to get that problem fix as well. But they still did not register my boiler for warranty which was meant to be done WITHIN 30 days of installation. They've FAILED their duty to protect gas safety. Im having to pay a huge amount of money to get my boiler fixed now, and they will be charging me for the fault of INSTALLATION issue by their developer. Im SO angry and disappointed. Living in the cold every night with no hot water, showering using cold water feeling helpless. I have a small young dog shivering at night because of the cold. Their property management is horrific, I regret buying their property. This will be passed on further for other reviews to avoid people putting such a big commitment to buying their property as I DO NOT want anyone going through what I had to. Please do buy at your own risk as I drew the unlucky straw with them.
We are approaching our 9th month in our new build home here at Bishops Walk in Durham. We just want to say a huge thank you to Gareth from the customer care team for his superb aftercare service, the three super efficient site managers (Chris, Jason & Gordon) and last but not least, the lovely Lindsay from sales, who continues to look after us. They all make a fantastic team and we are very happy customers.
After living in a Miller Home for 9 years we were faced with a water pipe supply issue. It was difficult for the plumbers to work out the pipe layout. We contacted Miller Homes to ask if we could see a copy of the as built drawings to help. We were quite directly refused being told Miller Homes owned the drawing by copyright. They don’t tell you this unhelpful stance when you buy the house and you really wonder why people in the companies think letting people down in such a way is a correct way to perform any job function
