Not only is the JawsTec service great, with great employees, the part quality I was able to get with their SLA / Proto Plus was extraordinary. I've had tiny spur gears printed (0.5 module) that have near perfect tooth profiles. This is far better than any other 3D printing I've seen for such detail.

In my business I run 50-200 MJF parts at a time, where the final parts (in my case MJF with vapor polish) are used as the housing for a high end electronics product. Unfortunately the manufacturing quality is very spotty if you are seeking a nicely finished product and they make it extremely difficult to return things. You regularly hear "looks good to me" "our regular machine was down" types of comments to address the cosmetic issues instead of getting real help to replace parts you cannot use. Bottom line - It is great if you are a hobbyist and not reselling the part. If you are looking for true manufacturing quality and someone who will accept responsibility for their work; I would go to Hubs or an alternate source who understands real world manufacturing vs making parts for 3d printing enthusiasts. I've been ordering(painfully) for the past few years and it has been a constant battle to get parts that are defect free. Unfortunately they don't see or treat you as a partner, like a regular/professional manufacturer would.

We have used JawsTec for some time, producing a single part that we had previously had no issues with. Unfortunately, something in their process has changed, causing significant part failure (delamination, visible voids, and discoloration). Not only are there structural issues, the visual quality of the part and packing has substantially declined. While they (including the CEO) admitted they previously produced the parts with no issues but concede the failures, they have attempted to reprint the poor quality parts with continued failure. They are now no longer accepting responsibility and we are out $1,126.91. We are a small company and have no recourse but to eat this cost. If JawsTec is not stable enough to either own their issues and/or eat the cost for their failures, they should not be trusted for your needs. Further, admitting failure with no solution and choosing not to refund cost is fraudulent.
