Spammer called me to get a scam mobile subscription
A salesperson contacted me on behalf of my mobile phone operator regarding extension my subscriptions. First off, he claims to be calling from the operator directly, not a sales company. Then he proceeds with random flattery, and claiming that he is saving me from huge increases in costs due to subscriptions running out. Sure, costs would increase unless I bind myself to further services, but that puts me in a situation where I have an advantage. Then he bundles together a deal for me stating he has "talked to his superiors and gotten me a exclusive deal", and proceeds with comparing my old prices with his new bundle, where he strategically omits the VAT in the latter (as he all of a sudden, without mention, tries to sign me on to a enterprise subscription plan instead of the private person plan I currently have), falsely making the deal sound a lot sweeter than it really is. This deal would also not be voidable; a company does not have the same rights a private person has regarding this. All in all, ISales/their representative used despicable sales tactics, misdirection and heap loads of superfluous banter, which had me doubting my otherwise loyal relation to my mobile phone operator since over 20 years back. Companys wanting to keep their solid and trustworthy regard better stay away from Isales; they are, in my opinion, crooks. I followed up by contacting my operator directly, renewing my subscriptions with them and ended up with a much better deal all around, without even having to haggle or hustle.
Stay away! Hang up the phone because they will try to fool you. They'll say one thing on the phone and then they try to sneak in something else in the contract.
