Be very careful when parking in a car park operated by these people. I parked at Chingford Golf course on Friday arrived at 10.30 for my 10.45am tee time my Friend pulled in at the same time. We took 5 mins loading up our trolleys, went into the pro shop and entered our cars into the parking system. It was busy so probably tee’d off about 10.50. When we finished and got back to our cars we both had a parking ticket. There were parking wardens in the car park who saw us arrive and they ticketed us immediately we left the car park to go to the shop. The ticket time stamp says: observed 10.34 issued 10.49 this is nothing less than fraudulent behaviour by these people and something needs to be done about.

A word of warning if you are thinking of using the car parking at the Travelodge, Preston Road, Brighton. The car park is run by Horizon Parking and they have charged me for breaching their rules because I, having already paid £17.00 for 48 hours of parking, took my car out for a couple of hours during my stay ( to go to a funeral) and brought it back again within the 48 hours. This is, apparently, not allowed. So far they have taken another £51 off of me and are now asking for another £25 which I will pay and hopefully put and end to the issue. Like most people using a car park, I do not get a solicitor to read all the small print for me before I park, also, if staying in a hotel for a while, I would expect to be allowed to come and go from the hotel car park, in my car, during my stay, this has certainly been my experience at other hotels. I will not stay at this hotel again (the hotel itself was OK) and will take steps to avoid using any car parks run by Horizon in future.

I've decided to pay my fines, totalling £310.00 absolute rip off merchants, bunch of modern day robbers..& clowns all rolled into One.. I provide Taxis to the sick & injured, from the local Hospital, I was on a break from a long 12 hrs shift driving my Taxi, so after surviving covid from ICU & then a car accident before that losing my Father to a Heart Attack! You all should be absolutely well & truly ashamed of yourselves, for the fact taking peoples hard earned money, when 1. your signs aren't well sign-posted if at all, any sign posts there at all..& 2. The car park I was in was deserted..at Dafto'clock in the morning, I will never return to the Arnison Centre Durham, again.. Well done ya bunch of thieves.. give ya self a pat on the back!.. the surname of MD🤣🤣 'absolute rip offs' & should be made illegal.. 🤡🤬🤡🤬🤡🤬

Anyone gets a parking fine, try sending them this..below.. Hopefully it will get cancelled, I've paid mine.. so it's too late, the thieves at Horizon have taken my money.. "To whom it may concern, I appeal and dispute this ‘parking charge’, as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability. You are no doubt familiar with the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, and that it does not apply in Scotland. Therefore there is no keeper liability whatsoever—you can only pursue the driver, but there will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Given that Highview has no right to keeper liability in this case, please confirm that you shall now cancel this charge. Alternatively, should you choose to reject my challenge, please provide me with a unique POPLA appeal reference so that I may escalate the matter via the independent adjudication service. Thank you for your cooperation and I look forward to receiving your response within the relevant timescales specified under the British Parking Association Ltd Code of Practice.." I provide Taxis to The local hospital, [Accident & Emergency patients] - where I'm based & these clowns fined me for parking in a deserted car park whilst on a break, during a gruelling 12 hr shift! NO VISIBLE SIGNS!!!! Then THEY send Me threatening letters, informing they'll take me to court, through a debt recovery agent! PERSISTENTLY HARRASSING ME if I don't pay.. Affecting my health & my job.. Thanks a bunch! You CLOWNS at HORIZON PARKING!!!! - I paid to make it go away😢😭😢
