My experience with Heymondo has been extremely negative and, frankly, feels like discrimination. Last year, I spent a long time speaking with several sales agents. I was very clear: I am traveling the world on a motorcycle with no return date. Based on their advice, I bought their most expensive "Long Stay" product. For a full year, I was a perfect customer and never made a single claim. However, when I contacted them to renew my policy this week, they dropped a bombshell: they refused to renew me because I am now over 49 years old and already on my journey. This is the exact same journey we discussed from day one! If you are over 49 or planning a trip that lasts more than a year, do not use this company. They will take your money when you are "young enough," but the moment you hit 50, they will leave you stranded in the middle of your trip without coverage. I feel completely let down and discriminated against after being a loyal, claim-free customer.
