USUSWhen I booked the initial appointment, it appeared that my insurance was accepted. Minutes after booking, my primary care provider confirmed they would be prescribing my medication, so I attempted to cancel the Brightside appointment immediately. However, the system would not allow cancellation due to the 24-hour policy, even though the appointment had just been scheduled. After the visit, I received an Explanation of Benefits showing I would be responsible for $388 because the provider was out of network. Once I learned this, I canceled the follow-up appointment approximately 23.5 hours in advance, yet was still charged a cancellation fee. I contacted support, submitted documentation, and requested review, but more than a week later the billing issue remains unresolved.
