Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is an American video game developer and publisher founded on February 8, 1991 under the name Silicon & Synapse by three graduates of UCLA, Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham and Frank Pearce. Based in Irvine, California, the company originally concentrated primarily on the creation of game ports for other studios before beginning development of their own software in 1993 with the development of games like Rock N' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings. In 1994 the company became Blizzard Entertainment Inc before being acquired by distributor Davidson & Associates and later by Vivendi. Shortly thereafter, Blizzard shipped their breakthrough hit Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Blizzard went on to create several successful PC games, including the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo series, and the MMORPG World of Warcraft. On July 9, 2008, Activision officially merged with Vivendi Games, culminating in the inclusion of the Blizzard brand name in the title of the resulting holding company, though Blizzard Entertainment remains a separate entity with independent management.[3] Blizzard Entertainment offers events to meet players and to announce games: the BlizzCon in California, United States, and the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in other countries, such as Paris, France and Seoul, South Korea. All I want is to access my account so I can play WoW, but it's literally impossible. I try to log in after about a year off, so it tells me to go approve the login at the authenticator app. I go to the authenticator app, but it says it's been out of use since last year, and to download the Battle.net App. So I do that, but when I try to login there, it once again tells me to approve the login on the authenticator. How am I supposed to do that? After fiddling on the website for a bit to try and get a staff emember to help me out, I get to a part where you can press a button which supposedly removes the authenticator from the account. I pressed the button and have now been waiting for 23 mins for it to work. It just stands there loading. So I'm stuck and unable to access my account.

The only reason this is a two-star review is for the love I have for WoW from Wrath to Legion. I grew up with that game, remember in MoP being excited coming back from school and knowing after a few hours of playing, I'll be able to buy a PvP weapon - it was a rush. With that said, I used to play on Private servers with unpaid 'support' and those people actually had suggestions on fixes, solutions and surprisingly good technical advice. Then I moved to Retail in SL and after a couple long pauses I quit the game. People receiving salaries to help didn't care, and I was told 'report it to bug tracker' more times than I can count. Not even after I researching a solution and asking the GM if it could help, they moved a finger to say 'yes, try' or 'no'. It's time for whoever calls the shots, customer support is important - if a cashier is rude, noone is helping you to find the cereal and they treat you like shit while there, eventually you'll find a different store. It's the same with games and yours is dying.

Others provoke anger, god forbid you stand up for yourself, youll get muted for weeks, and they also take away any ability to progress in the game, so because you used words, they take away the physical ability to play the game.
