Delivered within promised time scale. Kept up to date on whereabouts of parcel. Contacted by text message and phone call giving a 30 -45 minute time slot. Very happy with service. Thankyou
BJS were to collect a defective dresser and deliver a replacement. The delivery men huffed and puffed about the fact the dresser was on the first floor, refused to cut a zip tie fixing it to the wall, then after my wife cut the zip tie, they moved the dresser from the main bedroom into the hallway, scuffing the paintwork on our doorframes in multiple places on the way, and ultimately were not able to get it down the stairs. After arguing on the phone with their manager for some time, they pushed the dresser into a different bedroom, leaving it blocking the built in wardrobes, partially blocking the door and walkway, and unceremoniously left the property and drove away without a comment. They returned 30 minutes later on the phone with somebody from their office, who asked if we would assume liability if there was any damage to our paintwork. Given they had already damaged paintwork, I was unwilling to accept that, and they told me their only option was to fail the delivery. They did not volunteer or make any attempt to move the dresser back to its original location, and then left.

Delivery was during specified times however when they contacted us to say they were on their way we specifically asked them to deliver to back door for ease of entry. On arrival we had to chase the van to get them to comply. They then proceeded to put the expensive piece of furniture upside down ( Clear markings on box ) which could have caused damage. Then asked to walk through house to get back to van instead of leaving through same door as they came in! We felt that after paying £40 for this delivery it could have been handled better.
