United KingdomBenenden was there for me. At a low point in my life, post uro-sepsis infection and debilitating prostate inflammation - the NHS wait time was longer than 6 months. Benenden enabled me to access a urology consultant within a week, and have the necessary diagnostic MRI and CT scans. Ultimately reassuring and enabling me to access further NHS rehabilitation services and a year on I am mostly recovered. Without Benenden it would have been a longer protracted illness. I am so grateful and am pleased my contributions go to helping others in their times of need.

United KingdomI recently made a claim for diagnostics as I had waited for over 6 months on an NHS waiting list. I can only describe the service I received from Benenden as exceptional. I contacted them by phone and having uploaded the necessary documents I was given an authorisation code, booked to see a consultant and when he asked for a scan that wasn't on the original authorisation , I rang Benenden and this was quickly agreed and another authorisation code was provided for the scan. The whole process of initial consultation, scans and follow up consultation was completed in less than 3 weeks and that was with me being on holiday for one week and the consultant the next!The Benenden staff I spoke to were all very helpful.
