I was delighted with the help, advice and knowledge of the Audio T staff at their Portsmouth branch.I arranged an audition of some Spendor speakers and Alan Thomson, Sales, was extremely helpful and dare I say tolerant of my ramblings, I’m an 84-year-old who well remembers the original ‘sound of vinyl’ and would like to emulate it.He asked what amplifier and other equipment I am currently using, what music genres I like and generally what I am looking for in upgrading.Alan set up the demo and explained what amplification and streamer he was using which was a reasonably close approximation of mine.After much listening and discussion, I made my choice and asked if I could have a home demonstration. He readily agreed and helped load the speakers into my car.I had the speakers on demo for 3 or 4 days and decided to order a pair. I was able to keep the demo speakers for a further two weeks until my new speakers were delivered by Alan, who then helped me set them up.I was very impressed with Audio T and in particular with the services of Alan.It’s been over 40 years since I have used Audio T, well, it was Hampshire Audio in Chandlers Ford back then. I’ll certainly use them again as I explore improved amplification and streamer options.Excellent service, great advice and friendly sales team. Highly recommended.

Popped in to buy a Rega phono stage which they had in stock, the product has been great. Shop gets marked down as the reaction to customer just walking off the street was strange. Not very friendly and fairly indifferent. Felt like I was disturbing them, rather than valued as a customer.
