However, he charged me $320 for a LG Drain Pump that should have costed me $55.44 via Appliance PartsPros.com. Wow, 500% mark up!? Also they cost $99 for the diagnostic, unless I accept the job, then the diagnostic is included. For about 1 hour 15 min of work, costed $300. My total bill was $620!! So I called Appliance Repair to complain. Long story short, they hung up on me. Appliance Repair Experts are just a service who looks for jobs and gets paid by vendors. In this case, the Vendor Was: Reliable Appliance Services, Inc. on 324 Coogan Way, El Cajon, CA 92020. I called them and the dispatcher agreed I was overcharged, and should hear from a supervisor tomorrow. I'll see. From a principal standpoint, I'm concerned about others who will get taken advantage of.
