My experience was excellent. The customer service and communication was spot on.
Terri le company. They came completely unprepared, had no tools or belts to carry things. They had all the information upfront, twice, but the people on the call desk never passed on the information to the movers. After losing hours of my time, they agreed to send another team who never arrived and when I called back, the said they would not send it. They made excuses like I did not tell them the measurements of a piece of furniture, which they later admitted wasn't true and they did have the information, then it was the weight of that piece of furniture which they already knew when they agreed to send another team (normal weight). They finally said they don't care and would not return money. After fighting and chasing for weeks, hey agreed to return half. Horrible experience, I had to organise the move with another company, who turned up to be cheaper and moved everything in 2 hours. Do not recommend, Gave one star because I cannot give 0. I have organised many moves before and none came even close to this level of unprofessionalism.
I had a move booked with AnyVan for a Sunday. Ten minutes before the transporter’s stated arrival time, and after the agreed start time, the assigned transport company cancelled due to a vehicle breakdown. There was no phone call. I received only a WhatsApp message from an unknown individual. No replacement transporter was offered, no contingency plan was in place, and I was told to contact AnyVan myself, despite AnyVan not operating customer support on Sundays. This caused serious disruption, as I had storage booked and was travelling shortly after. AnyVan only processed a refund after multiple follow-ups and escalation, during which I was asked to provide screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation as proof. Despite repeated requests, I was never provided with the name of the transport company. Refunding a service that was never delivered is the bare minimum. The complete lack of ownership, accountability, and contingency planning made this an extremely stressful experience. I would strongly advise against using AnyVan for any time-critical move.
