Made purchase online for a product that was listed at half the price of anywhere else, stocked item ends up not being available. Tried to substitute with a product that was totally different. Only explanation was the manufacturer had no stock. So I rang the manufacturer, they said they had plenty of stock. Now waiting on a refund. It all was a big waste of time. And they’re sitting on $360 of my money for however long it takes to process the refund. Not ideal for my first dealing with this company.

Excellent communication and knowledgeable staff, great range of stock, fast shipping. Only problem I have noted is that they sometimes charge far too much for postage. I recently purchased a few small items that costed them a few dollars to post in a small envelope and they hit me up for around $18 postage. I requested a refund on the postage difference on the order note, but received no reply about it or refund. Update: After contacting AIMS they refused to refund me the difference owing on the postage, claiming that they have standard fees regardless of weight or size of item. I have since found another company that sells the same products more cheaply and can ship at reasonable rates.
Product was loosely packed in a larger box with other products. No package filling had been placed in the box, and the main component showed damage due to being dropped, most likely while in transit. The minor components in the order, were better protected than the major component. I spoke to a company representative and after discussions decided that it would be easier and more time efficient, to repair the damage myself, rather than returning the item for a claim. The repairs carried out took approximately one hour.
